Jack Fitzpatrick Content Creator
My name is Jack Fitzpatrick, but you probably had figured that out by now. I am currently completing my final semester at James Madison University in Harrisonburg, Va. I am a Media Arts and Design major with a concentration in Journalism. To go along with that I am minoring in Political Science and Sports Communication.
At JMU I work with the Athletics Communications office where I assist in office duties and graphic design working alongside the assistant director of Social Media. At JMU I also wrote for the school paper, The Breeze where I was a senior staff writer. At the Breeze, I had the opportunity to cover JMU's pro day and their spring practices. I also covered basketball, soccer and baseball. I also served as the Public Relations Director for a 501(c)3 non-profit, SafeRides, for two semesters.
At JMU I have been able to really focus in on what my passions are and try my hardest to become better at them and I feel no matter what happens, or wherever I go I can put the hours in and become the best possible person I can be at the position.
My other passion, outside of design, sports and social media is cooking. I have loved it since I can remember, the first dish I ever created was chopped veggies. I cut them up and served them in a bowl to my mom. Since then I have refined my cooking abilities and if things go right I can open my own restaurant one day.
